Features

Key features of ConfirmOk

An opt-in resident amenity that gives your team a clear morning picture and a documented response trail.

01
Residents choose their call time
Morning or evening, their routine. Participation stays high because it never feels like surveillance.
02
Alerts route to your front desk, coordinator, or on-call staff
A missed check-in can notify the office, a service coordinator, a designated neighbor, a family member, or local non-emergency dispatch, in the order you set.
03
A building-wide dashboard
See at a glance who has confirmed, who is being retried, and who needs follow-up. One screen replaces the sign-in sheet, the door knocker list, and the guesswork.
04
Documentation for every resident
Every call, response, and escalation logged and exportable. Useful for HUD service coordination reporting, board minutes, insurer questions, and family conversations.
05
No equipment in units
Works on every resident's existing phone, including landlines. No wiring, no maintenance tickets, no pendants left in drawers.
06
Amenity pricing, community billing
Per-resident monthly pricing. Communities fund it as an amenity line, an HOA budget item, a service coordination grant expense, or resident-paid with a community discount.
Benefits

Why communities add ConfirmOk

Most communities discover the gap in their wellness routine on the worst possible day.

Without ConfirmOk
Wellness checks depend on staff rounds, sign-in sheets, or a neighbor noticing newspapers piling up
Independent residents are the least monitored people on the property, by design
After an incident, there is no record showing the community acted reasonably
Pull cords and pendants go unworn, unwired, and untested
With ConfirmOk
Every enrolled resident confirmed daily, with a same-morning follow-up protocol
Independence preserved: a 15-second call, not a knock, a camera, or a wearable
A complete, exportable record of every check-in and every escalation
A safety amenity that families ask about on tours and boards can defend in budget meetings

Funding

Fund it as an amenity, a grant expense, or a resident service

Communities structure this four ways. Independent living operators fund it as a building amenity that differentiates on tours. Housing authorities and HUD-assisted properties fund it through service coordination budgets, where resident wellness contact is already a reportable activity. HOAs add it as a community budget line, often a few dollars per door. Some communities offer it as an opt-in resident service at a group rate. Per-resident pricing, monthly billing, no long-term contract; we quote your building or community on a 15-minute call.

FAQ

Questions property managers and boards ask first

Will residents feel like they're being monitored?

The opposite, in practice. Residents choose their call time, the call lasts about 15 seconds, and there are no cameras, wearables, or sensors. Most residents describe it as the thing that lets them stay independent longer, and adult children describe it as the amenity that sold them on the community.

Is participation mandatory?

No. Programs are opt-in. Most communities launch with the residents who want it most and grow by word of mouth. Living-alone residents typically enroll first.

What does it cost a community?

Per enrolled resident, billed monthly to the community or the resident, no contract. A few dollars per door per month is the typical budget conversation. We will quote your exact scenario on the first call.

What happens when a resident doesn't confirm?

ConfirmOk retries on your schedule, then alerts your designated contacts in order: office staff, service coordinator, a family member, or non-emergency dispatch. Your community defines the protocol; the system enforces and documents it.

Does this replace our pull-cord or pendant system?

It complements it. Pull cords work when pulled; a daily check-in confirms a good day actively, so a silent emergency cannot hide behind an unpulled cord. Communities with aging call systems often add ConfirmOk first because it requires no wiring or unit visits.

Does this count toward HUD service coordination reporting?

Resident wellness contacts are a standard service coordination activity, and ConfirmOk's per-resident logs export cleanly for grant reporting. Your grant terms govern classification; we will walk through your reporting template on the scoping call.

How is resident data handled?

Encrypted at rest and in transit, never sold or shared. Data terms available for your board or authority's review before signing.
